A fatal two-vehicle crash on Highway 9 near Mount Pleasant Road, south of Tottenham, is under investigation by provincial police. The collision occurred late Thursday afternoon before 5:00 pm.
A 34-year-old man from Richmond Hill was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
Highway 9 was closed between Highway 50 and Mount Pleasant Road during the investigation. Police are asking witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to contact Caledon OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
