At approximately 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a multi-vehicle collision on High Street in Orillia.
Upon arrival, officers observed signs of impairment in the drivers involved. An investigation led to the discovery and seizure of drugs and alcohol. As a result, a 40-year-old man from Barrie faces multiple charges, which include dangerous operation and operation while impaired.
His driver’s license was suspended for 90 days, and he is scheduled to appear in court in mid-July.
