Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash in Georgina on Wednesday, where they found twisted metal and shattered glass. According to OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt, a car rear-ended a pickup truck that was turning left on Highway 48, north of Ravenshoe Road. The car sustained significant damage, but the driver’s injuries were not life-threatening.
The area was closed for several hours for investigation and later reopened that evening. No charges have been reported yet.
