A ramp connecting Highway 403 to Highway 6 southbound in Ancaster was closed Wednesday morning after a tractor-trailer rollover.
Emergency crews responded around 7 a.m. to the single-vehicle crash, where the truck was found on its side. The driver sustained minor injuries and was assessed at the scene.
Police say the vehicle was carrying bales of recycled material, some of which were thrown from the trailer and scattered a considerable distance, complicating cleanup efforts. The ramp was expected to remain closed until late afternoon.
A 32-year-old driver from Brampton has been charged with careless driving.
