A crash between an SUV and a tractor trailer in Centre Wellington Township sent one person to hospital and led to road closures for several hours on Wednesday. The collision occurred around 10:45 a.m. at the intersection of Wellington Road 21 and Eighth Line, just south of Inverhaugh.
The SUV driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital, while the tractor trailer driver was not hurt. A 41-year-old Acton resident has been charged with careless driving. Cleanup efforts forced multiple road closures in the area, including parts of Wellington Road 21, Eighth Line West, and Eighth Line.
