Two roads in Markham were reopened after an early morning collision on Wednesday.

York Regional Police reported that the crash, involving two vehicles, occurred shortly before 6 a.m. near Woodbine Avenue and Major Mackenzie Drive East. Those involved sustained only minor injuries.

The incident led to temporary closures, including southbound lanes on Woodbine Avenue between Victoria Square and Major Mackenzie Drive East, as well as westbound lanes on Major Mackenzie Drive East at Woodbine.

Authorities confirmed shortly after 7 a.m. that all affected roads had been cleared and reopened.
