Authorities are investigating a dramatic overnight fire at a fireworks store in Etobicoke after a vehicle crashed into the business early Monday morning.

According to Toronto Police Service, officers responded to a plaza near Albion Road and Highway 27 shortly before 1 a.m. following reports that a vehicle had driven into a storefront.

Investigators say both the vehicle and the fireworks shop caught fire, triggering explosions as fireworks ignited inside the building. When firefighters arrived, the structure was fully engulfed, and flames had spread to nearby units within the plaza.

Crews eventually brought the four-alarm blaze under control, though emergency personnel remained at the scene into the morning. No injuries were reported, and police said nobody was located inside the vehicle.

The driver has not yet been found, and investigators have not determined whether the incident is considered suspicious. Several roads in the area remain closed while the investigation continues.
