Police say officers were called to a collision involving a school bus and a school transportation minivan at Lillian Crescent and Cundles Road around 2:45 p.m. on Dec. 18.
Investigators believe the minivan driver experienced a medical emergency that caused the crash. The minivan driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was taken to hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
The school bus was carrying its driver and 36 local high school students, none of whom were hurt. The police traffic unit continues to investigate the incident.
