Emergency crews in Orillia responded to a tractor-trailer rollover on Atherley Road Wednesday afternoon. The crash occurred around 3:15 p.m., and the driver was taken to hospital for treatment, though no serious injuries were reported.
Fire Chief Chris Ferry said the incident caused a significant diesel and oil spill that crews managed to contain. Heavy tow trucks were brought in to assist with cleanup and vehicle removal.
Police said traffic in the area was being directed alternately through the east and westbound lanes.
