A driver from Grey Highlands is facing charges after a crash that left a vehicle overturned near Mount Forest.
Emergency crews responded around 4:15 p.m. Friday to the intersection of Southgate Sideroad 49 and Highway 89, where a vehicle had struck a hydro pole. Downed wires were found across the roadway, and the vehicle had flipped onto its roof in a nearby field.
The driver, a 23-year-old man, managed to escape the vehicle and was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He has since been charged with impaired driving and dangerous operation.
