A single-vehicle crash led to a lengthy closure of Highway 11B near Bass Lake Road on Tuesday morning. Ontario Provincial Police say the collision happened around 8:15 a.m., prompting officers to respond and shut down the highway in both directions for an investigation.
The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance. No update on their condition has been released.
The road remained closed for most of the day and reopened at about 4:45 p.m., with police thanking motorists for their patience during the disruption.
