Police are investigating a multi-vehicle collision in Toronto’s York area that sent one person to hospital and ended with a driver fleeing the scene.
The crash involved three vehicles and occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of St. Clair Avenue West and Mould Avenue, west of Runnymede Road. One of the vehicles overturned, and the driver of that car ran away on foot, while the remaining drivers stayed at the scene. The cause of the collision has not yet been determined.
A nearby business sustained damage, with its front window shattered and debris left inside. Paramedics transported a woman to hospital with minor injuries, while another individual declined medical attention.
Update – According to police, the driver who fled later returned back to the crash scene.
