South Simcoe Police are seeking public assistance to identify a driver involved in an incident that caused minor injuries.
The incident occurred between 3:45 p.m. and 3:55 p.m. on May 27 near County Road 27 and Sideroad 5 in Bradford West Gwillimbury. Police report that a small dark red SUV was traveling westbound on 5th Line in the wrong lane. Another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction swerved to avoid a collision, sustaining significant damage and leaving the driver with minor injuries.
Authorities say the SUV did not stop and continued westbound. Police are urging the driver to come forward and are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact South Simcoe Police.
