Lethbridge police are seeking help to identify the driver and victim of a hit-and-run that occurred on July 5 at 2:30 p.m.
The incident took place in the 100 block of 16 Street North when a blue Volkswagen Jetta mounted the sidewalk, struck a pedestrian, and ran over a small tree. The vehicle then fled the scene at high speed.
Fortunately, the pedestrian did not appear to suffer serious injuries, as they were seen walking away after the vehicle left.
