A 55-year-old man from St. Catharines lost his life after his e-bike collided with a transit bus at the intersection of King Street and Carlisle Street around 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
According to Niagara Regional Police, the man rode through a red light, striking the side of the bus. He was pronounced dead at the scene, while no one on the bus was injured.
Authorities are asking anyone with relevant information to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.
