A fire erupted early Wednesday morning in downtown Toronto, near Dundas Street East and Pembroke Street, at approximately 5:42 a.m. Smoke was spotted on the second floor, and firefighters rescued one person from the roof. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The fire has since been extinguished, though emergency crews remain at the scene. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
