A 30-year-old Edmonton man is facing charges after a single-vehicle crash involving a commercial motor vehicle early Tuesday in Greater Sudbury.
The collision happened around 1:35 a.m. on May 5 near the junction of Highway 69 and Highway 17. Two occupants inside the truck were taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have charged the driver with careless driving causing bodily harm. He was issued a summons and is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury on June 12.
