An Eglinton Crosstown LRT vehicle was involved in a collision in North York on Wednesday afternoon. The crash occurred around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Eglinton Avenue East and Swift Drive, just west of Bermondsey Road.
According to Toronto police, a vehicle struck the LRT train, but no injuries were reported.
This marks the second collision involving a Crosstown LRT vehicle along the above-ground section of the line in less than a week. The previous incident took place Saturday near Eglinton Avenue East and Pharmacy Avenue, roughly a six-minute drive from the latest crash.
