A driver was hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash in Etobicoke late Sunday morning. Toronto police responded to reports of the collision at Kipling Avenue and Redwater Drive around 10:11 a.m.
The vehicle struck a bus shelter, and the male driver, in his 70s, was taken to the hospital by paramedics. No other injuries were reported.
To allow for cleanup, one northbound lane on Kipling Avenue was temporarily closed, leading to delays. By later in the day, all lanes had reopened, and the investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
