A pedestrian was killed in a collision on the Queen Elizabeth Way near Stoney Creek early Sunday morning. Provincial police say the victim, an elderly man new to the area, was walking toward Fort Erie near Fruitland Road when he was struck by at least one vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators believe the pedestrian may have been hit by multiple vehicles, including a Honda, which likely sustained damage to the front driver’s side.

Authorities say foul play is not suspected and are asking the driver and any witnesses to come forward.
