An 88-year-old senior from Noëlville has died following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 69 in southern Sudbury on Monday afternoon.
The crash occurred around 4 p.m. between Richard Lake and Estaire Road, according to Ontario Provincial Police. Three other individuals were taken to hospital—one with life-altering injuries, and two others with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Highway 69 was closed for several hours and reopened in both directions shortly before 10 p.m. Monday.
