Toronto police are searching for a suspect involved in a hit-and-run in Fort York on Sunday that left an elderly woman with life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred around 10 a.m. near Brunel Court and Fort York Boulevard.
Police say the 82-year-old woman was crossing a driveway when she was struck by a white van. The vehicle fled the scene and was last seen heading towards Fort York Boulevard. The woman was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries.
Authorities are asking anyone in the area with information, including those with security or dash cam footage, to come forward or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously.
