An 83-year-old woman is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle in North York on Saturday evening.
The collision occurred near Wilson Avenue and Dufferin Street shortly after 6:30 p.m. Toronto police say an 80-year-old woman driving a red Ford Focus eastbound on Wilson Avenue struck the pedestrian as she crossed from the north to the south side of the street.
The pedestrian was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the driver stayed at the scene. Traffic Services is continuing to investigate the incident.
