A pedestrian suffered critical injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Etobicoke on Thursday evening.
According to Toronto police, the collision occurred around 7:47 p.m. near Lake Shore Boulevard West and Brow Drive.
Paramedics transported the victim, a man in his 40s, to hospital with severe, life-threatening injuries. Authorities reported that the driver involved stayed at the scene while the incident is being investigated.
