A pedestrian suffered critical injuries after being hit by a pickup truck in Etobicoke on Thursday evening.
Toronto police say the collision occurred around 7:47 p.m. near Lake Shore Boulevard West and Brow Drive, as the man was crossing northbound and was struck by an eastbound white pickup.
Paramedics transported the victim, a 41-year-old man, to hospital with severe, life-threatening injuries. Authorities reported that the driver involved stayed at the scene while the incident is being investigated.
Update – The man has died from his injuries on March 16.
