A fatal crash in Halton Hills last week claimed the lives of two people. On September 30, around 3:55 p.m., a white van heading northbound left the road and collided with a tree near Regional Road 25 and 17 Sideroad.

The van had three passengers onboard, all of whom were rushed to out-of-area trauma centers with severe injuries. The driver, suffering from non-life-threatening injuries, was taken to a local hospital.

The following day, police confirmed one passenger had died from their injuries, while the other two remained in critical condition. On October 4, authorities reported the death of a second passenger, leaving one passenger still in critical condition.
