Two drivers were killed in a head-on crash involving two vehicles near Renfrew on Saturday afternoon, according to Ontario Provincial Police.
Officers were called to Highway 17 between Anderson Road and McCallum Drive shortly after 1 p.m. for a collision involving a pickup truck and another passenger vehicle. Police say both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
The victims have been identified as a 55-year-old man from Renfrew and a 71-year-old man from Ottawa.
Police are asking witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from the area at the time of the crash to contact OPP or provide information anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
