One person has died and another remains in hospital after a house fire early Wednesday in Wainfleet Township.
Emergency crews were called around 12:30 a.m. to a property on Forks Road between Young’s and Morog roads. Firefighters discovered one person dead inside the residence, while an adult man was taken to hospital in critical but stable condition.
The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office has taken over the investigation to determine the cause of the blaze, which has not yet been identified.
