A 63-year-old man has died following an industrial accident at a manufacturing business in Vaughan’s Maple area, according to York Regional Police.
The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Teston Road, east of Keele Street, when a concrete slab fell on the employee. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries have been reported. The Ministry of Labour has been notified and is now investigating the fatal workplace incident.
