A motorcyclist has died following a single-vehicle crash in Caledonia on Wednesday afternoon.
Ontario Provincial Police said emergency crews responded to 4th Line at approximately 12:25 p.m. after receiving reports of the collision. Investigators believe the rider struck an object on the roadway, causing him to be thrown from the motorcycle.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the incident, 4th Line was temporarily closed between McKenzie Road and Haldimand Road 9 while police investigated. The roadway has since reopened.
