Hamilton police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred Thursday evening on Hamilton Mountain.
Around 5 p.m., a southbound 2018 Suzuki motorcycle collided with the side of a northbound 2025 Chevy Silverado pickup truck turning left from Upper James Street onto Mohawk Road. The 32-year-old motorcyclist died at the scene, while the 68-year-old truck driver was unharmed and is cooperating with the investigation.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit is leading the case. Authorities are asking anyone with dashcam, residential, or business surveillance footage from the area to come forward.
The intersection was temporarily closed but has since reopened.
