A 22-year-old Atikokan resident has died following a snowmobile crash on New Year’s Day. Ontario Provincial Police were called to the Saturn Avenue extension around 11 a.m.
The rider was taken to hospital but did not survive their injuries. OPP’s traffic incident management and enforcement team is assisting with the investigation, and police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
