Provincial police are investigating a fatal collision in Kawartha Lakes that occurred Friday afternoon. Emergency crews responded around 12:45 p.m. to a two-vehicle crash on Portage Road near Prospect Road.
One driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Portage Road was temporarily closed between Prospect Road and Rockview Road for the investigation.
Police are asking anyone with information or video footage to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP.
