A female pedestrian was taken to hospital following a hit-and-run in Etobicoke Saturday evening. The incident occurred shortly after 7:30 p.m. near Kipling and Horner Avenues.

The woman was hospitalized with serious injuries that are not life-threatening. Police say the vehicle fled the scene.

On Sunday morning, investigators had located both the vehicle and the driver. The driver, a 34-year-old man, now faces multiple charges, including attempted murder, assault with a weapon, dangerous operation of a vehicle, failing to remain at the scene of an accident, and public mischief.
