A fire broke out Friday night at a home in Oakville, damaging an attached garage and destroying two vehicles. The incident occurred near Underwood Crescent and Bridge Road, with thick black smoke visible from as far as Highway 401 and Trafalgar Road in Milton.
Fire crews responded to the scene and were able to contain the blaze. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire and the full extent of the damage are still under investigation.
