A fire broke out overnight at a home on Martindale Crescent in Brampton, near Williams Parkway and Main Street. Brampton Fire and Emergency Services responded around 2:30 a.m. Thursday, containing the blaze to the exterior of the residence.
No injuries were reported. A section of Martindale Crescent between Wheatfield Road was temporarily closed but reopened an hour later at approximately 3:30 a.m.
