Five people were injured in a single-vehicle SUV crash on Muskoka Road 117 in Lake of Bays Thursday afternoon.
The collision happened around 3:30 p.m., closing the road as emergency crews responded. Four people suffered serious injuries, while a fifth was airlifted to a regional trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.
The roadway reopened shortly after 11 p.m. Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
