Four people were hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash on Highway 401 in Milton early Thursday.
OPP officers were called to the area of Regional Road 25 shortly before 1 a.m. after receiving reports of a serious collision.
Police said two passengers travelling in the back were thrown from the vehicle and sustained serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening. The driver and front-seat passenger suffered minor injuries.
All four occupants were transported to hospital, while the driver was arrested and charged with dangerous driving.
The westbound lanes of Highway 401 were shut down near Regional Road 25 for several hours as investigators worked at the scene. They reopened shortly after 7:30 a.m.
