Two vehicles were “damaged beyond repair” following a crash Monday in West Perth, according to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). The incident occurred around noon at the intersection of Perth Road 164 and Perth Line 20, southwest of Mitchell.
Four people, including two young children, were transported to a local trauma centre with non-life-threatening injuries. A 20-year-old man from Kitchener has been charged with failing to yield.
With traffic increasing during the summer months due to travelers heading to Lake Huron, the OPP is urging motorists to follow road safety rules, particularly regarding speed limits and controlled intersections.
