A 15-year-old girl was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Etobicoke on Thursday morning.
The collision occurred shortly after 11:15 a.m. near Finch Avenue West and Martin Grove Road, in front of Father Henry Carr Catholic Secondary School. Preliminary information indicates the teen was using a marked crossing when she was hit by a vehicle that was making a turn.
The driver remained at the scene, and police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
