A 7-year-old girl was hospitalized with minor injuries after being struck by a taxi in Etobicoke on Monday evening.
Toronto police and paramedics responded to the collision on Bonnyview Drive, near Parklawn Road and The Queensway, shortly after 5:30 p.m.
The girl was transported to a local trauma centre for treatment. Her injuries were described as minor.
The taxi driver remained at the scene following the incident.
Police have not determined what led to the incident, and it remains unclear whether the driver will face charges. The investigation is ongoing.
