A Guelph man faces charges after crashing a speeding pickup into a hydro pole on Janefield Avenue near Torch Lane around 8 p.m. Friday, then running off.
Security footage captured the truck veering over a sidewalk before hitting the pole, after which the driver got into another vehicle and left. Police arrested the 32-year-old the following day, charging him with dangerous driving and leaving the scene of a collision.
