A 63-year-old Guelph man is facing impaired driving charges after his pickup truck crashed into a parked SUV on Wednesday evening.

The collision occurred around 8:45 p.m. near the intersection of Metcalfe Street and Kensington Street. Responding officers observed signs of impairment and arrested the driver.

Police said breath tests conducted at the station showed the man had more than three times the legal blood alcohol limit.
