Guelph Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver involved in a hit-and-run on Sunday morning.

Around 9 a.m., a black Hyundai SUV collided with a delivery truck near Paisley Street and Edinburgh Road North. The SUV fled the scene, heading north on Edinburgh Road.

The vehicle sustained significant front-end damage, including a missing headlight and fog light on the driver’s side. Witnesses described the driver as possibly an Indian male wearing glasses.

Police have not confirmed whether anyone was injured.

Update – A 42-year-old man from Guelph has been arrested and is facing multiple charges, including dangerous driving, careless driving, and failing to stop after a collision.
