A 47-year-old Hamilton man died Friday night after being struck by a transport truck on the Lincoln Alexander Parkway. The incident occurred around 8 p.m., after the man pulled over his 2015 Toyota Yaris on the eastbound shoulder near Garth Street and exited the vehicle. Emergency crews responded, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the transport truck remained on site and is cooperating with the investigation. Police have not disclosed why the vehicle was stopped or whether there were other occupants.
