A 34-year-old man from Hamilton died after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 403 on Saturday afternoon. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. in the westbound lanes near Aberdeen Avenue.

According to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle, and despite emergency resuscitation efforts at the scene, he was pronounced dead. The two people in the vehicle were not injured and remained at the scene.

The exact details of how the collision occurred remain unclear, and the investigation is ongoing. Police spent approximately five hours investigating and clearing the highway. No charges are anticipated at this time.
