Highway 11 was shut down Tuesday evening in Washago following a collision involving a transport truck and several other vehicles.
Police closed the highway between County Road 169 and Sparrow Lake Road at about 5 p.m., after initially blocking traffic at County Road 169 roughly half an hour earlier. Orillia OPP are advising motorists to anticipate delays and to follow directions from officers working at the scene.
Authorities say they are still evaluating potential injuries. The incident marks the second time Highway 11 has been closed due to collisions on Tuesday.
