A collision involving a dump truck and a passenger vehicle is causing major traffic disruptions on Highway 11 in Bracebridge.
The crash was reported shortly before 2 p.m. near High Falls Road, according to Ontario Provincial Police. The initial impact blocked one lane in each direction.
Police say northbound traffic will face a full closure after 4 p.m. while officers investigate the crash and crews work at the scene. The extent of the injuries remains under assessment.
Motorists travelling through the area are being urged to avoid the highway and take Muskoka Road 117 and Muskoka Road 46 as an alternate route back to Highway 11.
