Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon in Chelmsford, prompting a temporary closure of Highway 144 at the MR35 intersection, according to Greater Sudbury Police.
Ontario Provincial Police said the highway was shut down in both directions for about an hour. One person was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
As of 1:30 p.m., traffic on MR35 was reduced to a single lane in each direction. The road fully reopened shortly before 2:30 p.m. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
