A driver attempting to avoid a deer swerved and collided with a transport truck on Highway 403 in Brant County around 9:40 a.m. Wednesday, according to Ontario Provincial Police Constable Jonathan Bueckert.
One person suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital. The eastbound lanes were reduced to one while the scene was cleared. Authorities warn drivers not to swerve for wildlife, as doing so can lead to serious accidents.
